THE ART OF GOLDSMITH MASTERY

LINE HALLBERG Atelier continues the legacy of LINE&JO, which was founded on the vision of combining the unique Nordic tradition of minimalistic aesthetics with the ever-changing silhouettes and moving contours of fashion and design, thereby creating a new world of timeless and edgy goldsmithery and jewellery.

Since 2007, LINE&JO has challenged the ways of traditional goldsmithery and the conception of fine jewellery as being solely classical diamond rings, pearl necklaces and symmetric pairs of earrings. By daringly insisting on creating distinctive designs with a truly contemporary radiance, LINE&JO liberated the individual with the purpose to evoke and accentuate the elegance, strength and magnetism of the wearer – all while paying respect to the history of the craft.

All pieces are handcrafted by professionally trained goldsmiths with a proud craftsman legacy that has been passed on throughout generations. The creation of every design commences with the sketching of delicate hand drawings over the sculpting of the organic wax models, to the completion of the illuminating piece of fine jewellery.

THE SECRET OF THE METAL

A distinctive characteristic of our fine jewellery is the treatment of the precious metals. With classic goldsmith craft techniques, Line Hallberg models the metal into crystal-clear shapes with cutting edges and razor-sharp details. The design of each piece is then accentuated with a silk matte or high polished surface. The result is a piece of fine jewellery becoming a work of art.

SILK MATTE SILVERY TREASURES

By gently covering the sterling silver with grey ruthenium, Line Hallberg creates a silk matte, subtle and sophisticated grey surface. This results in a distinctively cool, edgy and avant-garde look that accentuates the design of the fine jewellery.

BRIGHT POLISHED BEAUTIES

The antique surface is as bright as a shining mirror. The sterling silver is covered with grey ruthenium and then brightly polished. This unique treatment emphasises the details of the facets while the polished silver captures the light, adorning each piece of jewellery with depth and life.

A DISTINCTIVE TONE OF GOLD

The unique gold colour of our solid gold pieces is the ephemeral colour of elegance. A secret blend of fine gold, copper and sterling silver creates the distinctive gold colour, which is exquisitely beautiful against the delicate tones of skin. Our solid gold pieces are adorned with either silk matte or high polished surfaces.
